The Blues with Bottle Club is a free blues club which meets mostly on the  first and third Wednesday of every month,at the Anchor, one of the few remaining traditional pubs in Sevenoaks. Music normally starts at 9pm and ends at 11pm.  Space is limited so an early arrival is advised for those wanting good seats!

Local, national and international blues musicians perform regularly at the club which has a committed and appreciative audience. Great beer - club atmosphere - and free live music!

The Chequers is a lovely old riverside coaching inn sitting  in the heart of this picturesque village just a short drive from Tunbridge Wells, with its own restaurant for those wanting to make it a real outing... The Red Rooster Blues & Roots Club was started in June 2010 on the same basis as the Blues with Bottle Club - a free live music venue in a traditional pub. The landlords' enthusiasm for the arts means this is a developing project. Gig frequency has recently increased to each Friday with a few exceptions  and there are other music happenings in the pub on other occasions.   Music starts around 9pm.

This is an extension of the original Blues with Bottle Club, with the aim of bringing bigger bands to the area in a larger venue - the room has capacity for around 150 with seating, real ale and an art deco style ... prices are kept at a reasonable level and frequency may increase if this project is successful...
